FIND: Balmain RTW 2010 Collection FEEL: I have been a fan of Balmain way before Bey donned a jacket in public back in 2008. Coming from a military background and attending military school for some time; I have learned to love perfection and confinement (in a sense). The jackets in this Balmain collection are effortlessly chic and cut to perfection. The fabric used for the trousers (first picture) are surprisingly satisfying to my eyes. I was talking to a colleague of mine months ago about creating some trousers in that format yet more balloon like. Balmain is one of my top 5 favorite labels and they have yet to fail me in their collections. I spotted my two favorite looks and decided to post them. Check out their show below:
INTRO: So as we all know I have been going for a solid colour for the seasons this year. All Black for Wintor, All Grey for Spring and All White for Summer. The looks I have posted below are just an idea for what is to come for Spring and Summer. The All Black dress by Lanvin was definitely just an add in. FIND: Front Row @ Balenciaga FEEL: Pretty soon, I will be sitting front row of some shows next FW in London. In September. This month (February) I will be attending some events at NYFW. So… It’s all about progression people. The individuals I’ve posted in this set of front row photos are people that stick out to me. FEEL: When I logged onto style.com this morning I did not think that I would be that interested in collections other than my usual muses Lanvin, Balmain and Proenza Schouler. After coming across the new collection of Balenciaga I felt a bit different. I was looking through City Mag yesterday and found this hooded vest by the label and found it very interesting. It reminded me of a hat that I used to wear as a child. I am very interested in anything that brings back the days of my childhood. The line offers dark colour mixed with an array of bright hues.
